Chong Lee

A native of Arlington, VA, Dr. Lee received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1983 from the Medical College of Virginia.
His passion for dentistry drove him to seek post-graduate education that would allow him to provide his patients with the kind of high-quality care
he knew they deserved.
And now, as a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the world renowned post-graduate center for
aesthetic and neuromuscular dentistry, Dr. Lee is so expertly trained when it comes to creating smiles of exceptional health and beauty that he has
become an LVI Clinical Instructor and their Regional Director. Dr. Lee founded the LVI Study Club of the DC Metro Area, and lectures around the country
to hundreds of dentists. He also mentors dentists both locally and nationally in cosmetic dentistry. He finds sharing his expertise and experience with
other doctors to be incredibly gratifying, both personally and professionally.

H.R. Makarita

Dr. Makarita graduated from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1988. Since then he has maintained a private practice in Oakton, Virginia focusing on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. He believes strongly in continuing education to better serve his patients and to keep up with the newest techniques and materials utilized in modern dentistry, and as a result, has been awarded Mastership status in the Academy of General Dentistry. In order to achieve this, he was required to attend over 1100 hours of continuing education in all phases of Dentistry, of which 400 of those hours involved participation courses and case presentations.
Dr. Makarita is also among an elite group of cosmetic dentists who have been accredited and attained Fellowship status
by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. To date, this prestigious professional status has been awarded to only 39 dentists
worldwide. To achieve accreditation, one must complete extensive advanced education in cosmetic dentistry, and must pass a rigorous
Accreditation Board Examination. Fellowship marks the highest level of clinical achievement in the AACD. Dr. Makarita reached this status
through a dedication to continuing education, careful adherence to protocol, and the resolve to produce exceptional dentistry.

Henry D. Dean

Henry D. Dean, DDS graduated from University of Maryland in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He continued his post-graduated studies at New York University College in Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Dean served as chief resident of the general practice residency program at Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.
As someone who believes education is a lifelong process, Dr. Dean is constantly taking continuing education courses not only to foster his knowledge but also benefiting his patients. He is currently an attendee of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). Dr. Dean has gone to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry meeting to further his understanding of cosmetic dentistry. Regardless of his busy schedule, Dr. Dean volunteers his time at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic. He received the Ellen Flanagan Volunteer Award given in recognition for his service to the community. Dr. Dean is an active member of Virginia Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Dean is a native Virginian who is thrilled to be returning home. His wife Therese is a pediatric dentist, whom he met during his residency. Dr. Dean enjoys traveling with his wife and experiencing different cultures. Dr. Dean is an avid sports fan who likes golf and tennis.
Passionate about his career, Dr. Dean finds the greatest satisfaction in creating beautiful smiles and healthy functional occlusions for all his patients. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality of dental care while implementing the most modern, evidence-based techniques.
